The more information given about your product, the more informed the customer will be about that particular product when purchasing it from your store.

Product Attributes

Attributes are the specifications that are compared between products in the Product Comparison. Attributes are originally created Attributes tab in Merchant Dashboard. Selecting an attribute will assign an attribute directly to a specific product. If you didn’t create an attribute for your product you need to create one.

To create a new attribute go the Merchant Dashboard and select Attributes from the left menu. Before adding attributes you need to create attributes groups.

Scenario: We’re selling a Intel Core i7-920 computer processor

A. Go to Attribute group under Attributes Press “Add” and a form below should appear. Fill in the blanks with the attribute group name and save. For our scenario, we will create the attribute group name “Processor”

B. Go to Attributes under Attributes Tab, Press “Add” and fill the blank with the attribute name. For our scenario we will be creating the attribute “Number of Cores”. Then select the attribute Group from the drop down, in our case its “Processor” after we will create other attributes such as “Condition”, “Clock Speed”, “Processor Type”, and “Socket Type” under the group “Processor”

Now to assign our defined attributes to our product, go to attribute tab in product detail page and select the plus + icon to add attributes. In attribute column click inside, if you have less than five attributes defined they should auto pop up if not, type your attribute name or keyword. In our scenario we will select “Number of Cores” in attribute list. In the text field next to it we will type our description, for our scenario which is “4 Cores”. After add any other attributes your product have.
