Starters Guide to Sell on Prufal

Decide which plan fits your business

Firstly you need to decide what type of selling plan that best fits you. For Merchants we have two plans Standard and Advance.

The Standard plan is free to sign up which attracts seller fees which vary by category, see seller fees for more info. You are not charged until you make sale, there is no listing fee involved. With the Standard plan you are allowed a maximum of 30 items listed. This plan is suitable if you plan to sell fewer items, you’re still deciding what to sell or you want to keep up-front costs low.

The Advance plan is subscription base plan which allows you to list more than 30 items plus seller fees, which vary by category. This plan is suitable if you’re a business ecommerce seller or plan to sell more than 40 items.

How to register as a Merchant on Prufal

To get started you will need some information before hand:

bank account number and bank routing/transit number (For payouts from sales), a chargeable credit card(For Advance plan), government issued national ID, tax information (For Individual Sellers), Business Documents (For Businesses), reliable email address and phone number.

We hope that you have decided on which plan fits your business. To register for a seller/merchant account you must sign up and be approved. To sign up visit here and fill out the registration with accurate and legal information. Once submitted your application will be reviewed and be approved or disapprove.

Costs to sell on Prufal

Costs that are associated selling on Prufal involves:

Selling Fees

These are fees charged per item sold, these fees are varied by the category your product is in.

Subscription Fees

These subscription base and are only applicable to advance sellers.

Shipping Fees

These are only paid by your customers. Shipping fees are setup in your seller dashboard. For Merchants that join Prufal Express Fulfillment all shipping is handled by Prufal (Fees may apply)

Prufal Merchant Dashboard

The Prufal Merchant Dashboard is where you manage the selling side of your business.

In your Merchant Dashboard you can:

  • Add and Edit Products
  • Organize your Inventory
  • Fulfill Orders
  • Access sales Analytics
  • Handle customer inquires
  • Bulk Import & Export Data
  • Manage Payments

To get access to the Merchant Dashboard you will need to be approved first.

How to list products on Prufal

To sell a product on Prufal, you must first create a product listing in your product catalog.

To list your products you will need a product ID to identify your product without a full specifications specified on the label. It helps in tracking the item in any part of the supply chain. Product ID identifiers are: UPC(Universal Product Code), ISBN(International Standard Book Number) or MPN(Manufacture Part Number).

Alongside you will need:

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
  • Product title
  • Product description
  • Product images
  • Product Model
  • Product Stock And Price
  • Product Weight And Dimensions
  • Product Manufacture/Brand And Categories
  • Product Attributes And Options/Variants
  • Meta Tag Title, Meta Tag Description and Meta Tag Keywords

The product detail page is where potential customers view your product. As you’re building your product details page, try to think about what will best help customers understand and find your products, discover answers to their questions, and make a purchasing decision. Aim for the ultimate customer experience by making your listings concise, accurate, and easy to understand.

Important pointers to consider are:

  • Product images should be at least 500 x 500 pixels preferably jpeg to help with optimization
  • Product title must not be larger than 50 characters and also capitalize the first letter of every word for easy read.
  • Product Title, description, and meta tags should be optimized to improve your SEO (search engine optimization) organic search and product rankings.

How to deliver Orders

Prufal currently supports the following couriers to deliver your products:

  • DHL
  • Prufal Express Delivery
  • Zipmail Jamaica (Jamaica Post)
  • Tara Courier

Orders should be fulfilled within 2 days as this promotes a good seller ratings, customer trust and Prufal’s trust.

Discounts, Time limited sales, coupons

Every customer loves and want to save. You can also offer discounts and sales on your products to treat your customers or capture potential customers.

Prufal Adverts

Prufal advertising is one of the ways you can stand out among your fellow competitors. Prufal offers promoted listings, product newsletters and banner ads to promote your offers.
